Check out Rich Barbera. He built my electric and acoustic 5 strings and he does great work, (he's not even paying me to say that). He also has a line of multi-transducer string instrument pickups that several other makers below use.

Fred Carpenter at "The Violin Shop" in Nashville does the work on my other acoustic. He's the one who designed the original "Carpenter Jack" for violins. I purchased mills mics for both of my acoustics from him and he also has great prices on anything fiddle related.
